This has to be the wettest, mildest and most dismally grey winter I can ever remember in my whole life.

I'm ready for spring now. Nearly Feb and been an awful winter here.

I feel we will miss this entire cold snap with not a flake of snow here. Very sad. But equally, delighted it's dry and crisp.

Frustratingly still seeing zero snow for me on the BBC / met "forecasts" (next 5 days). Seems to be the usual "dry and cold" or "wet but just warm enough to be rain". Shame.

Looks like the Jan "cold snap" has been downgraded a lot?

I love it when we have long days. One we get past new yeaars day, my excitement arrives as its a new year and I know it won't be long before the summer. I love the snow, but I love the sunny day even more. I hate being cold. Sorry, snow and cold lovers just being honest.

Probably one of the better ones for me personally living in the NW. (For lying snow). Easterlies rarely make it to me. North sea "lake effect" snow just doesn't dump here the way a wet North North Westerly does.
