Yesterday was heavy rain and thunder, today is dry, the sun is shining & 14.5°C but starting to feel very autumnal

Mevagissey, today has been a damp, wet and windy day. Drizzle for most of the day, being driven by a westerly wind. Temp around 18c (according to the car).

Yesterday was the first official day of autumn and it seemed more like winter. The coldest temperature we had was 3.8C and todays low was 5.8C the frost yesterday was a bit of a shock to the system for the dog, this morning only a little frost on the roof tiles currently 7.0C

Im having half my roof replaced over the next 2 days, currently have no tiles on it, so the weather had better play ball!
Today has been cloudier than forecast but at least its remained dry.

Horrid day, dark, wet and windy...nothing exceptional for here, maxed out at 56mph gust, maybe a bit stronger tomorrow, but looking foreward to an Autumnal high back end of next week.

Top gust so far 58 mph which by our standards isnt anything significant, however its the longevity thats not particularly normal, winds not due to start dying down until tomorrow here,
