Yesterday was heavy rain and thunder, today is dry, the sun is shining & 14.5°C but starting to feel very autumnal

A lot of sunshine this morning and dry. Currently around 16c, breezy and light rain.

Steady 40 mph gusts here (if thats not a contradiction )! A shock to the system after 2 weeks of 40 odd degree heat...i know which I prefer!

Mevagissey, today has been a damp, wet and windy day. Drizzle for most of the day, being driven by a westerly wind. Temp around 18c (according to the car).

Some really heavy rain today, one of thos days you expect in mid winter where its not really getting fully light... looking foreward to next week

After yesterdays heavy rain, this morming is beautiful, with clear skies and around 13c. Looking forward to the last few days of our Cornish break away.

For the first time this autumn, I had to scrape a frost off the windscreen at 6 this morning!

Yesterday was the first official day of autumn and it seemed more like winter. The coldest temperature we had was 3.8C and todays low was 5.8C the frost yesterday was a bit of a shock to the system for the dog, this morning only a little frost on the roof tiles currently 7.0C

After the weekend deluge, its been crisp and glorious sunshine...hope it lasts till next weekend! Something tells me not

Morning all! I’m back from my Cornwall trip, so expect plenty more updates from HQ again .
Here’s this morning’s observation: 12°C, calm with no wind, and high cloud starting to build. It was clear blue skies first thing.

Im having half my roof replaced over the next 2 days, currently have no tiles on it, so the weather had better play ball!
Today has been cloudier than forecast but at least its remained dry.

A dry start to the day, but Amy is now starting to show her presence with heavy rain. Wind is still calm and a temp of 14.5c

Horrid day, dark, wet and windy...nothing exceptional for here, maxed out at 56mph gust, maybe a bit stronger tomorrow, but looking foreward to an Autumnal high back end of next week.

Not as windy as expected, last night, but was certainly windy and wet. Currently very windy, wet and about 9.2c

Top gust so far 58 mph which by our standards isnt anything significant, however its the longevity thats not particularly normal, winds not due to start dying down until tomorrow here,

Top gust for stoke on trent last night 46mph, now down to 24.4mph and rainy 9.9C and falling

A lovely sunny start this morning. Not a cloud to be seen in the sky, but very blustery around 10c
