Who Has Snow?

Post by Andee »

No proper snow event overnight, just lots of sleet and the odd spell of snow. The ground's wet and the cars have a light slushy coating.

Not a sausage! The best bet for most will be early hours Sunday morning before it turns to rain, most will be asleep!

After I posted this, there were some heavier snowfalls in the area, but nothing really settled where I am and any covering had disappeared within about an hour of it stopping.

We had a flurry of snow last night before a hard frost set in. Forecast snow, sleet and rain overnight and during Sunday. Snow probably confined to high ground such as Buxton.

What little snow we had overnight has now disappeared. By 6am it was already melting, after around 30 minutes of snowfall at about 2am

We' e had a little both yesterday and then again this morning - no more than an inch or so either time and most of it has gone now

I’m on the South Warwickshire/Worcestershire border and we’ve had no lying snow at all this winter 🙁 A couple of occasions of snow mixed in with rain and that’s been it. I’ve given up hope of ever seeing proper snow again…

This low mentioned in the model thread for mid week is causing forecasters nightmares. Heavy rain with snow on its northern flank and still the track undecided. Most likely option is southern england.

I might get sacked for saying this 😄 but hopefully it won’t be too bad. I’m heading down to Cornwall at 3am Thursday, over the Pennines along the M62, M6 and M5, with a van loaded up with our belongings.

A shift north with latest predictions... nothing major looks on the cards, cental, and north wales alongside west Midlands looking best spots to see some snow tomorrow evening and overnight.

Rain to snow and back to rain (again) in South Herefordshire overnight. A bit of the white stuff left on the car windscreen this morning but that's about it.
