Spring / Summer Model Outlook 2026

No sign of another pattern change for the next 10 days or so with the Atlantic remaining unusually active for early Summer...10 day chart from GFS continues the theme of Atlantic driven lows tracking through the UK. We await the Jet to move north for a pattern change...meanwhile, looks cool and wet until mid month.

Following on from above, after a wet Thursday for most pressure now looks to build over the UK by day 7 (next weekend). GFS makes a dramatic switch to warm, sunny and very light winds ... may not last long so make the most of it !
